Tiny Lanterns

You found one.

Someone left that there on purpose.

The little book in your hand came out of a small handmade mailbox, and the mailbox is part of a project called Tiny Lanterns. Someone in your town makes tiny zines of art and words about ordinary good things, folds them by hand, and leaves them out for whoever happens by. That is the whole operation, with nothing to buy, nothing to sign up for, and no catch waiting at the end.

Keep it, stick it on the fridge, tuck it into the book you are reading, mail it to a friend having a hard week, or put it back for the next person. Any of those is the right move.

If you want more

Every lantern ends up in the archive, and some come with a PDF you can print and fold at home. There is also a little app that asks you for one good thing every night and keeps it on your phone and nowhere else.

Letters, occasionally

New lanterns land in your inbox when they are ready, with no schedule and no noise, and you can leave any time.

Signup opens soon.
